Tourism activities in La Garrotxa

With a privileged location in the heart of Olot, Hotel Borrell is a good starting point to know La Garrotxa and its capital.

Village of El Mallol

Olot is located at an altitude of 440m, and its capitality is due in part to its central position in the region, industrial and commercial activity and cultural life.

La Garrotxa, in the Pre-Pyrenees of Girona’s region, is an area where most of the land is less than 600 meters high and the highest mountains do not exceed 1600 meters.

The volcanic area of La Garrotxa, in the south of the region, has more than 40 volcanoes in good condition with significant lava flows, forming a smooth landscape with few slopes, ideal for trekking and cycling.

The area of the Alta Garrotxa, in the north, has a rugged and steep landscape that consists of deep valleys surrounded by cliffs and rock walls. The landscape is really spectacular.
