Olot celebrates five days of traditional culture, music, festival figures, family activities and some of the most iconic events of the Festes del Tura.
From 4 to 8 September, Olot celebrates the Festes del Tura, its main annual festival and one of the city’s most iconic celebrations, officially recognised as a Festival of National Heritage Interest.
For five days, Olot’s streets and squares will come alive with traditional culture, music, family activities, performances and festive events. The programme features some of the festival’s most traditional highlights, including parades and dances by Olot’s traditional festival figures, the opening speech, the Battle of the Flowers, the fire run, the Turinada, the dance of the Giants, Big Heads and Little Horses, the Tornaboda and the final fireworks display.
Music will also play a major role, with performances by Teràpia de Shock, En Tol Sarmiento, Di-Versiones, The Tyets, La Ludwig Band, Ginestà, Orquestra Montgrins and many other artists and bands.
